Born in Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City, Yoshida attended Osaka Prefectural Yodogawa Technology High School and Osaka Gakuin University. Yoshida played for the Nishinomiya Storks from January- June 2016, and then joined Osaka Evessa later that year, where he currently plays as shooting guard.
