LGBTQ Tourism

In order to promote Osaka's status as an enjoyable destination for LGBTQ travelers, the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau joined the International LGBTQ+ Travel Association (IGLTA) in 2018. We have since been enthusiastically focused on creating a more welcoming environment for LGBTQ travelers, such as providing diversity and sensitivity training for our employees and conducting LGBTQ FAM trips.

Visit Gay Osaka

The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau has created a portal site for LGBTQ travelers, the first of its kind in Japan from a local tourism bureau. We update Visit Gay Osaka with columns from local LGBTQ voices as well as information on LGBTQ bars, friendly restaurants and cafes, event information, LGBTQ travel companies, and more.
