Tourism Database (DMP) Development

Aiming to formulate tourism strategies based on data and to popularize the use of the PDCA (plan–do–check–act) cycle, the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau has built and operates a data management platform (DMP), a tool for centralizing and visualizing tourism-related data.
By breaking down a combination of open-licensed data, travel consumption data, and survey results, we are able to support local municipalities across Osaka Prefecture in analyzing their standing and in analyzing the "who, what, and how" factors that are essential to tourism strategy.
Based on the insights obtained from the DMP, we can provide comprehensive tourism-related consulting services ranging from tourism strategy planning for municipalities, to digital promotion and its verifying its effectiveness using various media owned by the OCTB
